CHELSEA boss Antonio Conte has explained his decision to start Cesc Fabregas against Southampton tonight.
The Italian believes the experience the Spaniard has can help the Blues over the line as they look to become Premier League champions.
He said: “We have already played with those players in the starting XI.
“I think Cesc is a player who can play in different positions.
“He has the personality and the quality in this part of the season. He is very important to us.
“On the bench Willian and Pedro give me an option during the game. It’s a fundamental importance now.”
